Dial7 Branding website & app design.

Project Details:
The New Branding Concept.

The goal is to make it easier for users to book a car, but easier said then done, beyond the effectiveness of the design there are a few key obstacles that we had to overcome so we can get the best product out there, and maybe also to reinvent it if we could.

So let's start: Booking form application. (8 months in the making) 1. The first thing on the agenda was speed; we want the user to make a reservation faster! Much faster! So we had to reduce the number of steps a user had to make to make his ticket, but that's not all. Usually, the user had wait for very long between each level.

We had to eliminate the loading process between each step of the booking process and let me say that that wasn't easy to do.

The New Branding Concept.

The goal is to make it easier for users to book a car, but easier said then done, beyond the effectiveness of the design there are a few key obstacles that we had to overcome so we can get the best product out there, and maybe also to reinvent it if we could. So let's start: Booking form application. (8 months in the making)

1. The first thing on the agenda was speed; we want the user to make a reservation faster! Much faster! So we had to reduce the number of steps a user had to make to make his reservation.

Usually, the user had wait for very long between each step, so we had to eliminate the loading process between each step of the booking process, and let me say that that wasn't easy to do.

2. We narrowed it down to 5 steps, 6 being your confirmation number, but not just any five levels, so what so unique about it & what makes it different from all the rest out there? Well, besides the UI design, the ease of use and workflow, there is virtually zero loading time. (Nuff said)

3. The booking form needed to beautiful to look at and easy to use all at the same time, On Smart Phones, Tablets and Desktops.

4. The all-important user experience, meaning that any user may book a car without any issues what so ever, no matter how much they know about the web, now I know that sounds too good to be true.

It's a working process, and without going into all the boring details, let me say that we are well on our way there.

5. Colors & typography, we have decided to go with clean but strong colors that will speak volumes, a variation of black, gray red and blue did the trick on this one. As for the font face we wanted to have a clear curved font that will present class and prestige all at the same time, and I think we have it.

Mobile Version Mobile experience, now that's is a mouthful, to say the least, the internet is becoming more and more the property of mobile devices, and it is a daunting task to improve on it, but we don’t mind taking on a challenge, and so we did.

1. Again speed! Are the key and primary ingredient for mobile.

We looked and looked to find how we can make the mobile experience a little better and little faster, and so we did. The mobile version for Dial7 is a first of its kind and a breakthrough for us as we have come up with a mobile site that doesn’t let you wait at all when going from page to page.

It's like eating ice-cream the sheets just melting away, but don’t take my word go and visit dial7.com from your phone and see for your self. As for the desktop version, the best thing is to visit the site.
